What is Transfer Now?
Transfer Now is a fund transfer service which allows EON Bank Personal Internet Banking customers to transfer funds online from their EON Bank Current/Savings Account to participating MEPS bank’s Current/Savings Account in real-time.

How can I use this feature?
This feature can be performed via Personal Internet Banking. Click on “Fund Transfer”, select “Transfer Now” and follow the on-screen instructions.

What are the key differences between Interbank Fund Transfer (IBG) and Transfer Now?
  1. Transfer Now allows you to review the beneficiary’s name upon submitting the account details to ensure that the account that you are transferring funds to is correct.
  2. The funds transferred are available immediately (real-time) in the beneficiary’s account upon confirmation and successful transfer.

Can I make fund transfers to loan or credit card accounts?
No. Transfer Now is only available for fund transfers from EON Bank Current/ Savings Accounts to participating MEPS Banks Current/Savings Accounts only.

What is the service charge for using Transfer Now?
The service charge for using Transfer Now is RM 2.00.

What is the daily limit for Transfer Now?
Customers may transfer up to a maximum of RM 3,000 daily. The transaction limit can be changed under “Manage Transaction Limit”

What if I have transferred funds to the wrong beneficiary? Can the transaction be reversed?
The funds will be debited from your account once the transaction has been confirmed and successfully transferred. Unfortunately, the transaction cannot be reversed.

How do I check my record of past Transfer Now transactions?
You can view the amount you’ve transferred by accessing to your “Recent Internet Transactions” from the link under “Account Overview”. Alternatively, under your account “Transaction History”, the amount you transferred will be recorded as “IBFT Debit” and the service charge as “IB Service Fee”

I received an Error Code saying “DSP0031/Transaction timed out” What should I do?
If you encounter such a situation, please check if the amount has been debited from your account under your “Account Summary” or “Transaction History”. If the amount has been debited, please check if the beneficiary’s account has been credited accordingly. If the funds have not been transferred to the beneficiary’s account, please contact us at 03 - 2616 1133 highlighting the issue.
